In 2008, as a service to world communities and as a philanthropic endeavor, I created the earthaware arts education program. The teaching focuses on multi-session events in 3D object and shelter making with elements of environmental awareness integrated. Programs are designed for international application requiring very little language interface making it usable across diverse cultures .

earthaware workshops for children and adults have been run by myself and by those I have trained around the world. Programs have been held from Haiti to Malaysia, Kashmir to New Zealand, India to South Africa and many more countries. Over 10,000 children and 2,000 adults have attended earthaware workshops since they began.

Programs are free to the participants. Funding has come from my other work, from donors and from educational foundation and corporate grants.
